New York Fashion Week Sept 2009
Hello Friends! I’m home! Finally! Sorry about the lack of blogging! My internet connection in New York was painfully terrible, to say the least! hah But now that i’m home, i plan on giving you a good, detailed review of the shows & trip, as well as having some drawings and paintings of the collections coming very soon! ;) Shoot! i have so much to tell you! But first things first… I put this video together for you. The video is a compilation of videos my brother and I shot during the last week. A few fashion shows featured in the video are Donna Karan, Siki Im, and Gerlan Jeans. I hope you like it. :) The music used in the video is from one of my favorite bands named “South”. The song is off of the album “With the Tides” . Oh yes! My friend, the beautiful and lovely Miss Gala Gonzalez has a little cameo in the video ;)

New York – Day 1
My brother and I are a little short on time so i’m typing as fast as i can cause i want to fill you in. So far, it’s been a blast! We flew in Saturday night and caught up with my good friend Miss Sophie Ward. Then, yesterday we went to the Gerlan Jeans Show, where I ran into lovely Miss Susie of Style Bubble & Julia Fakes of Bunny BISOUS. It was so much fun cause i hadn’t meet them in person, but had done Blogger Portraits of them. After the show, Julia was incredibly nice and gave us a ride back to Bryant Park. My brother and i hung out in Bryant Park for about an hour, where we sat and he read as i drew this picture. The tents are in the background. Later, we went to a show called Siki Im which i have to say, was the most insane show i’ve ever seen! I took a few pictures, you can see in my Image Diary. I’m hoping to have a video up by next week. ;) Then later last night, we meet up with Rumi from Fashiontoast and her boyfriend Colin, and Bianca from Modelina for Erin Fetherston’s after party, where we meet Yvan (the Facehunter) and saw Miss Krystal Simpson. :) It was a great day.

Volume 2
Fashion Week Build Up
Well, my friends… The race is on… The countdown has began and the mid-night candles are a burning! haah Well, 11 days left till i fly out to New York. I am currently staring at my multiple page “to-do before I leave list”, and trying to figure out how it’s physically possible to finish everything in time. The picture today is from Volume 2 out of my Character Sketchbook. Since i drew it last year in Bryant Park at NYFW, i thought it would be a good little sike up. I still don’t have my official schedule settled yet, been getting invites over the last few days, but once i have everything finalized, i will post the schedule! :) Well, hope you all are doing great! Edit: The amazing site Modelina has featured my work on there site in an incredible slide show click here to check it out!
Romeo and Juliet
Romeo + Juliet 1968
Happy Tuesday! Wow! Today went by so fast! I’ve spent the day packing up a uhall full of art to drop off with my framer, to get everything all prepared for my art show of Sept 11. Are any of you familiar with the Romeo + Juliet 1968? It’s a must see! Juliet is played by Olivia Hussey… and oh my! She is so beautiful and fair. It’s one of my favorites, so i thought i would draw from it! Also, the new WhoWhatWear’s September Fashion Story is up today! A few weeks ago, i was invited to hang out during the WhoWhatWear shoot of my blogging friends, Geri Hirsch of Because i’m Addicted, Karla of Karla’s Closet, The Stylish Wanderer, and Krystal of What Is Reality Anyway?. It was fun to finally meet all of them in real life, and it was great watching the shoot. If you wan to see the shoot click here :) P.S. This drawing is part of my “Series On Love” click here if you want to see more of this series. :)

Collaboration
Heutchy Shoe Collaboration
Hi Friends! How are you doing? Sorry for the few days delay on my posting… It’s been a crazy week, i’ve been working a lot, and some exciting things are in the works ;) Yesterday, I was featured In the incredible Women’s Wear Daily! It was an extreme honor and the lovely Miss Patty Huntington wrote an amazing article. If you haven’t read it & want to, Click Here to check it out. :) Also, yesterday in the mail, my Heutchy Collaboration shoes arrived!!! Heutchy is an amazing men’s shoe line. A few months back, Heutchy asked me to collaborate on a fabric. After throwing around a few ideas, we decided that it could be interesting to make a fabric print out of a building top texture. so i ended up painting the the image above. Then is was digitally printed on leather. I really like how the fabric and the shoes turned out. :) Thank you, Lowe! The shoes are amazing! Whatcha think? I hope you like them! :)
