Araisara Spring 2012
Hi everyone!
We are busy, busy, busy! How are you?
These pictures are from the Araisara Spring 2012 show from Tokyo Fashion Week. So this show was produced by our friend Hiro who we met while in Tokyo. He actually produced a lot of the runway shows during Tokyo Fashion Week, and his shows always stood out. But more on Hiro later :)
Araisara’s collection had cool mix of styles as some of the cuts were very traditional Japanese while others were very modern. There was an interesting mix of colors as well, with hot pink, gold, black and then more subdued greys and tans. The theme of the show was “Deep Ocean” and the runway was covered with a reflective, black, textured material that really created the illusion that the models were walking upon the open sea. We hope you like the photos!

Phenomenon Spring 2012
Hi everyone!
How are you?! Hope everything is good!
So Phenomenon had a great collection! It had a really fun color palette,
and as guys, it was a collection we could actually wear : )
Plus, the designer is just a super cool guy.
Also, we just did a cover story for Models.com! It was the first one where we both were able to contribute and it is a collections of images from Tokyo Fashion Week with a little write up on the week! Let us know what you think : )

Everlasting Sprout Spring 2012 JFW
Okay, so we love this designer. His past collections are so great, and this show was right in line with those. The show started with a musical quartet, one of whom had a large instrument neither of us had ever seen before. It looked like a wood wind flute, except it started at the ground and went all the way past his head. The mouth piece for it then came back down to his mouth. It was crazy!
They began to play and then the first model appeared. Her hair was curled and she was wearing semi nerdy glasses. The colors of the collection were very pleasant pastel greens and blues and yellows, as well as some nice black and whites. There were tons of fun shoes and socks also. One thing that has stood out to us during Tokyo Fashion Week is the meticulous detail that obviously went into the designs. You can tell that a lot of care went into it and the collections really standout as a result. Everlasting Sprout did not disappoint. We loved the very playful feel of it all. Simply wonderful!
We will be posting more images from this collection soon : ) Have a great day!

Gerlan Jeans – Waiting outside the the Audi Forum, my brother and I had a pleasant surprise. A flash of red hair caught my eye, and I quickly realized that it was Julia Frakes of Bunny Bisous! There, chatting with her, was none other than Susie Lau of Style Bubble! Danny approached them cautiously, as he had done portraits of both of them, conversed with them online, but had never met either of them in person. After conveying his identity to them, hugs were exchanged. Once through the doors, we checked in and tracked down our seats. The collection delivered an urban overtone utilizing grey and white prints of broken brick walls, pink and white prints of clenched fists, and pot leaves. These made their way on to various garments ranging from overalls, to swimwear, to hoodies, and even underwear. All in all, it was a fun event and we were so glad to have met Susie and Julia!” P.S. Our family cat Milo has a hurt foot, and there is a little girl who lives in the house next to us who is in love with Milo. So, today she came over and gave Milo a “Get Well” Card she made him. It is pretty much the most amazing thing ever!
