Elizabeth Taylor Tribute
Hello Friends,
As i’m sure you all know, the amazing Icon Elizabeth Taylor passed away yesterday, so i thought i would paint a tribute to her career and to who she was as a person. The reference image looks like it’s from the 1940s, but it just really stood out to me. She has a grace & charm about about her. I hope you like it :)

Marchesa Fall 2011
Morning! So i’m really excited to show you a little project i’ve been experimenting with. I know it’s really really really different than my usual work. But I’m someone who likes to constantly experiment. I really don’t like doing the same technique or medium twice. So i thought it would be interesting to try my hand at 3d Modeling + Digital Painting. So this was one of my first experiments. It’s from Marchasea Fall 2011. Which if you haven’t seen it check it out here. I’ve been a fan of Marchesa Collections, and the second i saw this dress I got the idea of a girl laying down with the dress flared out on an ornate rug under her, and i really like how it turned out. It’s so trippy don’t you think? I hope you like it.

Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring 2011
Good Morning Friends! Sorry for the 5-6 day absence. I decided since I passed up my 600th blog post a few weeks ago, that I should give Igor+André a facelift. So that’s what I’ve been doing over the last few weeks, and yikes, it was a learning experience. I didn’t know much about web design/coding in blogspot format so I had a crash course in it. I really like how it turned out. I’m not sure about you, but looking through the site and the different categories is like rediscovering the content. For some reason I feel like the scroll through experience is light years better now. But I would love to hear your thoughts :) I thought I would post the original Color version of my Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring 2011 . I posted a Black & White Version of the picture a few weeks ago, but i really like the color version too, so voila!

Hi, friends! How are you today? I’m super busy with some client work that I can’t wait to show you! I am using this crazy process that I just came up with for the project and I am really excited for how things are turning out so far : ) This drawing is of my friend Miss Sophie Ward and was for my Character Sketchbook. I really like the simplicity of it and feel like it captures Sophie. I hope you like it!
Inspiration Friday
Floating Back In Time
Morning my Friends!
Happy Inspiration Friday!! :)
Wow i’ve had way too many late nights this week!
But it’s been good learning so much.
I’m so excited for you to see what i’ve been working on! :)
Most of the images in the Inspiration Friday set are from one of my favorite movies, A Midsummer Nights Dream (1935).
The movie is magical so i thought i would throw a set together based on it.
I hope you’re having a very inspirational day!
P.S. What are your top 5 collections of this season?
(1. & 3. A Midsummer Nights Dream, 2. Lina Scheynius, 4.Barbara Cole)

Carolina Engman coffee Shop
Morning Friends! Well spent yesterday experimenting with developing tons of new techniques and new mediums… I have to say, i don’t remember the last time i’ve been this excited about a project. I love learning & experimenting and so far the experiments have turned out amazing. I’m still not ready to post them yet, but I’m dying for you to see it! I thought i would post a picture of my good friend Carolina Engman of fashionsquad, Who had her birthday last week. This picture is from when my bother David, Carolina, Mattias, Team Bloglovin, and I had breakfast at my favorite breakfast place, “Le Pain Quotidien”. Have you been there? Oh my! There is this fruit tart that i always get there that is seriously the greatest thing i have ever tasted in my life! Shoot, now I’m really hungry…. Whelp, i hope you’re doing great :)

Kaja Sokola – CSB 212
Hi Friends! Well the week is almost to a close! (finally) I’m so exhausted, been a few late ones over the last few weeks. I’ve been editing a video, thought i would have it ready for you today, but it looks like it’s going to be up on Sunday! I hope you like it. :) The Mixed media painting today is from my Character Sketch Book. It’s of a Polish model who i really think has an interesting look… her name is Kaja Sokola. I drew Kaja awhile back, it was just a Scribble Sketch. So i wanted to do a more polished picture this time around. It was hard to find many images of her, but i really liked this one. I’m looking forward to seeing more shoots with her. I hope you like the painting :) and hope you’re having a great day!
Portrait
The Great Joseph Arthur
Well my friends, i need to make this post quick because I’m off to see Joseph Arthur perform again tonight! Like I said last week, Joseph Arthur’s live performance is one of the most inspiring things I’ve seen. And when people inspire me, I always want to paint them. So ever since last week i’ve been wanting to paint him, and finally last Friday i started working on the painting as part of my Musician Portrait Series. Just finished it today! I hope you like it, please check him out! P.S. My friends in the band Eisley just had their new album released today! Go check it out, it’s great!:)
