October 11, 2008 at 7:59 pmHi!
October 13, 2008 at 6:01 pmI am studying fashion illustration for my art A-level and am planning on featuring your work as part of my research/inspiration…
I am so frustrated though because I love drawing from photographs in my own work and can’t really draw from imagination, but my teacher wont let me do anything that is not from observation (which creates problems with a model, i take hours on a drawing!).
I wondered if you ever have to use observation or your sources for the fashion work is mainly photographs and imagination? Is the creation of a pose and adaption of a collection something you would recommend to try?
Also how do you make the colour so rich??
I admire your work very much, and feel very lucky that I am able to ask you these questions!
Sorry it is so long,
Anna
this is bloody fantastic
