The Doe & Her Fawn

Hello friends. Well, i’m sitting with my fam watching the animated Peter Pan for the second time in three days. You have no idea how much i love this movie. Every element, especially Miss Wendy! She is wonderful! ;) If only i could figure out how to climb into the tv and live in Neverland…. hmm.. next invention… Well, i painted this picture today. It’s my own version of Bambi, i guess. i saw this picture today, and couldn’t help but draw it! i really like how it turned out. Hope you like it!! :)

  1. Wow! Thats beautiful, I love the use of colour in it..
Thank you so much for the nice comment about my sketching. It made me happy! Haha.
Peter Pan's great, maybe you should try doing some drawings based around Neverland or something?
Oh yeah, another random question. How long, on average, does it take you to do a sketch or painting?

hey danny, i hope you do some portraits on alice in wonderland. i'd really like to see your take on the characters. if you've seen the movie trailer and posters, you'll see it's not far from your style. :)

    This is amazing!
Deer are my favorite animals, if you ever decide to have this printed on a t-shirt I will be the first to buy!

  5. Don't you think Peter Pan is absolutely wonderful? I think I own every sorta version of it. The Disney classic, the movie, hook and finding Neverland.

Your painting is absolutely gorgeous. Breathtaking even.
When I read the title in bloglovin' I seriously thought it was going to be a painting of Audrey Hepburn and her deer.

  6. Are you planning on making prints of this piece. I would be the first on what is sure to be a long waiting list for this. It makes me feel serene. And warm. Really great job. Lovely.
