Well, hello and good afternoon, my friends! Forgive me for the lack of a post last night. i was meaning to do a drawing for yawl last night, but then my brother and i got talking till the wee-hours, which was quite a good time, so this morning i drew this portrait of Miss Susie of the blog Style Bubble, which is an incredible style blog! She has some amazing outfits on there. i’ve actually been meaning to draw her for awhile now, but when i saw this picture posted, i couldn’t resist. Wow, so so so glad it’s the weekend! The last two weeks have bled into one, leaving me one tired boy! But alas, it’s the weekend! woot woot woot! How is it going for yawl? Ok so i wasn’t sure how to categorize todays portrait… Wasn’t sure if it was going to be in the Blogger Portrait Series or Pop Culture Series… then i realized, it’s technically both, so i’m putting them in both. Today i was talking with my really good friend Mr. Tim Brooks, who is in the greatest most fun group alive called LUVBEAT, and i clicked over to their Myspace Music Page to listen to their Miley Cyrus cover song they did with their neighbor, Sam. Well, anyways, somehow i stumbled on to Brandi Cyrus’s Blog, and i had fun looking through it and reading her post. Then i came a across this picture of her and Taylor Swift on the blog so i thought it would be fun to do a double blogger portrait of them, cause Taylor keeps an interesting Blog on Myspace. I really like how the picture turned out. It was the first drawing i’ve done in so long on actually art paper. It felt good! hah. Well, i hope you all like it. OH also congrats to Lulu of the Blog Lulu and your Mom for getting your styling in Nylon Magazine. Also, Congrats Tavi for having your INCREDIBLE shirt featured in Vogue France!! So amazing! :)

Not quite sure how i am yawning at 9:30 at night, but i am… haa. Today was a long one. Finished a painting, started and finished another one, and also organized and packaged prints to get them ready to ship. It was long but great! Well, the new Blogger Portrait is of Karla of the blog Karlas closet. i have been following her blog for a while; it is a great style blog, but last week i stumbled on to a picture of her that i had to draw. All the lines and color and sunglasses, it just looked fun to draw. i hope you all like it! :)

Hello hello, Well today was a long but good day. Got off work, came home and chilled a little, and did this painting, and took some lookbook pictures… and now my energy is winding down. The Blogger Portrait is of Bryanboy Just a week ago i stumbled on to his blog and i was really impressed. i couldn’t believe how in depth of a site it was! Definitely go see bryanboy.com! p.s. Though i’m sure you already know who Camille of the Great blog Childhood Flames is, I am pleased to introduce you to her blog! i stumbled on to her blog a few months ago, but have been super busy. Her blog is quiet a charming one, full of lovely picture and great outfits. Hello friends! Sorry to miss another night of posts. i think i finally have this whole internet thing worked out. Did a long night of Karaoke last night! I definitely sang Peter Pan’s “I Don’t Want to Grow Up”! haha And then, i wake up this morning to see Mr. Perez Hilton had posted my portrait i did for him for Bloglovin. And then i thought i would post the picture as part of the Blogger Portrait Series considering it is a blogger Portrait. Thank you so much, Perez! :) There will be more tonight! I drew a Vogue cover from 1962 on the plane ride over here, not sure if it’s Audrey Hepburn on it or not, but it sure looks just like her! Well anyways friends, 5 day count down till the wedding. i’m pretty excited. The wedding is going to be on the beach in Alice’s backyard. Think we are going to be build a gazebo for the ceremony today. Hope you all are doing great! ciao :)

Kinda funny how I stumbled on to her site… i was on Myspace and you know it has that section that says “People You May Know”? Well, her profile was in there, and for some reason her name seemed familiar and looked kinda familiar… so i click over and stumbled on this picture of her in a dress that looked fun to draw. i hope you like it! Ok so i wanted to give you a little progress report on my Audrey Hepburn Movie watching… First off, thanks for all the great movie suggestions. So far i’ve seen My Fair Lady, Sabrina, Funny Face, and Breakfast at Tiffany’s I think if i had to rate my Favorites so far in order 1: Funny Face 2: My Fair Lady 3: Sabrina 4: Breakfast at Tiffany’s They’re all wonderful though… Also, when i was watching Funny Face last night i decided i need to go to Paris and fall in love cause it looked like way too much fun! hahahaha ha But yes, i loved the movies. Thank you. i shall continue my way seeing them all. :)
