These pictures are from the Araisara Spring 2012 show from Tokyo Fashion Week. So this show was produced by our friend Hiro who we met while in Tokyo. He actually produced a lot of the runway shows during Tokyo Fashion Week, and his shows always stood out. But more on Hiro later :)
Araisara’s collection had cool mix of styles as some of the cuts were very traditional Japanese while others were very modern. There was an interesting mix of colors as well, with hot pink, gold, black and then more subdued greys and tans. The theme of the show was “Deep Ocean” and the runway was covered with a reflective, black, textured material that really created the illusion that the models were walking upon the open sea.
